GENERAL TERMS

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by the customer (hereinafter referred to as “you”) with ICEBREAKER Nordic ApS (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us” or “ICEBREAKER Nordic”) at www.icebreakernordic.com (hereinafter referred to as icebreakernordic.com).

By using icebreakernordic.com, you agree to be bound by following the terms and conditions. Please make sure you have read and understood the terms and conditions before placing an order.

We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any contract will be subject to the policies and terms of sale in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms of sale is required to be made by law or governmental authority.


PAYMENT

You can enter your payment details at the time you place your order using a valid credit or debit card. We accept payment with the following cards: VISA, VISA Debit, VISA Electron, MasterCard and Maestro. There are no surcharges for payments made with these credit cards. We also accept payment from your PayPal account. When you place an order, the total payment will be reserved on your account.

All payments are encrypted with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that unauthorized persons cannot read your card number or other information transmitted during the transaction with the Danish payment service provider Epay.dk, who handles payments for purchases made on our website. Note that the page where you provide your payment information looks different from the rest of the shop. This is due to the requirement from epay.dk that the page must be secure, and the information encrypted.

All prices include 25% Danish VAT.


DELIVERY

We ship to US + EU. Delivery time and price vary depending on the destination of your order. Usually, a delivery takes 3-9 business days. You can track your delivery with the track and trace link which will be sent to your mail after you have purchased a product. We cannot guarantee local delivery conditions, therefore we cannot provide a guaranteed delivery time.

We insure all shipments against loss and damage while they are in transit from ICEBREAKER Nordic ApS, but as soon as the shipment has been signed for at the agreed delivery address, the insurance will lapse, and you will be responsible for looking after the products. If your package is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you make a note that you have received a damaged package when signing for the shipment.

Seller shall not be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss caused by any delay or failure in delivery due to buyer’s performance or for any occurrence or contingency beyond sellers reasonable control, including buyers own action, neglect or any other circumstance beyond sellers control including but not limited to acts of God, acts of war, fire, insurrection, strikes, lock-outs or other serious labour disputes, riots, earthquakes, floods, explosions or other acts of nature.


CLAIMS

Even though our products are simple in design and purpose, they introduce a new and innovative way of using ice cubes. We do our best to provide clear instructions through the Quick Guide included in the packaging and through our online introduction videos. Still, you may experience that the product does not seem to work exactly as you expected.

Do not worry - we are here to help.

We believe in clever inventions, great engineering, thorough quality testing and high-quality production. Nevertheless, variations in use, handling and production may occur, and in rare cases a customer may experience unexpected product behaviour or breakage.

We will get back to you as soon as possible.

According to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, consumers have a 2-year right to complain about defects in products purchased from icebreakernordic.com.

If you believe your product is defective, please contact our customer support as soon as possible at:

  3. Photos or video showing the issue, if relevant. If leaking, make sure to picture the crack.
  4. Your name, address, e-mail address and phone number

If your claim is accepted, we may resolve the issue by repair, replacement, a price reduction or a full or partial refund, depending on the specific situation and in accordance with applicable law.

Please do not return any products in connection with a claim before you have contacted us and received instructions from our customer support.

If we ask you to return the product in connection with an accepted claim, we will provide return instructions and local return address. If you return a product before receiving our instructions, you may be responsible for the return costs.

RETURNS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you regret your purchase from icebreakernordic.com, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you, or a person chosen by you, receive the product.

You can exercise your right of withdrawal by using our digital withdrawal function on our website:

Your message must clearly state that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. Please include your order number, name, address, e-mail address and phone number.

If you use the digital withdrawal function on our website, we will automatically send you a confirmation by e-mail without undue delay, including the content of your withdrawal request and the date and time of submission.

You cannot withdraw from your purchase simply by refusing delivery or by failing to collect the parcel without also informing us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

Please do not return any products before you have contacted us and received return instructions from our customer support.

If a return is required, the product must be returned no later than 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. Unless otherwise agreed, you are responsible for arranging and paying the return shipment.

Local return address will be informed upon granting the return.

Goods returned cash on delivery will not be accepted.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to determine the product’s nature, characteristics and functionality. This means that you may inspect the product in the same way as you would normally be able to in a physical shop, but you should not take it into actual use.

If the product has been filled, frozen, used for food or drink, or otherwise handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, this may result in a reduction of the refund amount. In certain cases, where the product is unsuitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons and the relevant seal or packaging has been broken, the right of withdrawal may be lost.

We will refund the amount using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have received your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until you have provided documentation that the product has been returned, unless we have informed you that a physical return is not required.


CANCELLATION BEFORE FULFILMENT

If your order has not yet been fulfilled or shipped, you may request cancellation of the order.

If the order has already been fulfilled or shipped, the ordinary rules on withdrawal and returns apply.

If you do not accept our privacy policy, you should not use our website. We take a great deal of care in ensuring that information which is obtained about you is treated appropriately.

Credit Card details are processed and handled by Epay, who encrypts all transactions with the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. Who has access to your personal data?

ICEBREAKER Nordic ApS use your data to process your requests. We never pass on, sell, or swap your data for marketing purposes to third parties outside our company. Data that is forwarded to third parties, is only used to provide you with the services mentioned above, for example shipping agents regarding the delivery of goods, media agencies for distribution of newsletter and credit reference. In order to improve our services on icebreakernordic.com we use Google Analytics, which keeps statistics of the overall use of our website. In case of fraud or credit card abuse, we may give personal data to authorities who handles investigations of this.

Where is my personal data stored?

We store all personal data in our secured system if you use our services. If, you stop using our services, we will store your personal data for up to 5 years. Hereafter, we will delete all your personal data. If, you would like us to delete your personal data before, you can contact our customer support. We store all personal data according to Danish law and in a secure server, which can only be accessed with our authorisation.
